Level up your editing with multi-cursors

March 21, 2026

Ever found yourself manually renaming ten variables or adding the same attribute to several HTML tags? Instead of a tedious find-and-replace, try using Alt + Click (or Cmd + Click on Mac) to place multiple cursors. It feels like a superpower when you can type in five places at once.

If you want to select the next occurrence of your current selection, just hit Ctrl + D (or Cmd + D). It’s one of those small workflow tweaks that saves a surprising amount of time and keeps you in the flow without ever touching your mouse.
